'Top 40'
Pages
There were quite a lot of changes in the
'Top 40' pages this month. The Home Page fell from 1st to 5th position (perhaps
because fuller links are now available from the top and bottom of all pages, so
there is now less need to keep returning to the home page.
I know why the 'What's New' page for March
moved to the top of the chart. That's because I'm now grouping together
all page requests for 'What's New' made in the month. In previous months,
I have shown them under three separate groups, giving totals separately for
'What's New' early-, mid- and late-month.
There are now more pages of thumbnail
images for Edinburgh districts in the 'Top 40' This may be a consequence
of a recent talk that I gave to Broughton History Society, that included
many photos of districts in the north of Edinburgh.

Sessions and Pages Viewed
There were:
(a) 164,523
sessions in March (6% more than in February)
(b) 658,988
pages viewed in March (3% fewer than
in February)
(c) The average
session had 4 pages in March
(down 0.4 on February)
(d) Bandwidth for
EdinPhoto in March was
99GB
(down 25% on Feb. Why?)
