This card covers the same area as card 4 above, but was described as 'Edinburgh & Scott Country', in recognition of the work of Scottish author and poet, Sir Walter Scott.  This card was published by Alastair White's earlier company, JB White Ltd. Dundee.

These are the postcards that I know of with maps including Edinburgh:

Cards 1,2,4,5,6 were published by Whiteholme of Dundee.

-   Card 4a was published by JB White Ltd, Dundee , a company run by Alastair White before he established Whiteholme of Dundee.

Other Maps

I also have several other Whiteholme postcards, featuring maps of Scotland, including more extracts from the 1725 map of Scotland.

I like this series of maps but, for the time being at least, I've not added them to the EdinPhoto web site because I'm trying to restrict the scope of the web site to matters concerning Edinburgh, so that it does not become too unwieldy.
