Inglis, Francis Caird
Rock House
Edinburgh Castle was a popular
subject for both Alex A Inglis and his son, Francis Caird Inglis.
Here are the Edinburgh cards that I have found by Francis Caird
Inglis.
All bear the legend: 'Francis Caird
Inglis, Photogrpaher to His Majesty in Edinburgh', and have a
brief description of the subject, on the back of the card.
Many have numbers in the stamp box.
The numbers I have seen range from 1 to 36, but some numbers are
duplicated for 'Castle' and 'other' views.
