Workers can be seen in the quarry.

In the background is Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh Castle.  Johnstone Terrace and Edinburgh Castle - Photograph by Begbie ©

The quarry no longer exists.  The quarry has now been filled and is the site of the Craigleith Retail Centre, comprising a Sainsbury supermarket and other shops.
