Gillespie's Hospital |
|
James Gillespie of Spylaw bequeathed most of his property in order to found a Hospital for aged men and women and a Free-school for the instruction of one hundred poor boys in reading, writing and arithmetic. Building commenced in 1801. The building is in a Gothic style. |
