The Old Building

Leith Town Hall, shown in the picture above is at the corner of Constitution Street and Charlotte Street.  This building was constructed  in 1827 and has two ornamental fronts, one with Ionic pillars, the other with a Doric Porch.  [ONE]

A  New Building

Leith Town Hall has since moved to a new site at the east end of Ferry Road, behind Leith Library, almost opposite the site where John McKean had his photographic studios from 1882 onwards.
