The photograph above was featured in Supplement to 'The Photogram' in April 1895.

The journal described the photograph as:

 "a good example of almost accidental pictorial arrangement". 

The sculptor is FP Moffat's late father in law, Mr John Rhind ARSA. 
The journal comments that:

"Mr Moffat has many a time looked in here, or chatted a few minutes while 'the master hand' was busy."
