James Howie Junior

1820-1855

James Howie (b.1820) became known as James Howie Junior.  This is how he signed his name on the back of his cartes de visite.

He was buried in Warriston Cemetery.  Below are two photos of his gravestone.  Most of the lettering on the lower photograph is clear.
