Beginners' Group

Almost without a break, for over a hundred years, since EPS acquired its first premises in 1892, there have been classes, demonstrations and lectures for 'Beginners'.

In the 1890s, these were described as Elementary Lectures,  though some subjects hardly seemed to be 'elementary' -  e.g. in 1894:

  -  Platinotype Development - with special reference to sepia toning.

By referring to old EPS Transactions, EPS Syllabuses, etc., I have found most of the lectures from the 1960s until the early 1990s, and some of those for earlier years.  Please select a period below.
