Cramond is a small village on the shore of the Firth of Forth, still popular for sailing.  It lies about five miles to the west of Edinburgh.

The photographs above are both from the Yerbury Collection, possibly both taken by JCH Balmain.  The Yerbury business took over the Balmain business in 1958
