Deacon Brodie

Deacon Brodie was born in 1741 and executed 1788.

Deacon Brodie was one of the people caricatured by John Cay.

"Does anyone know my cousin, Eddie MacCaulay of Fleshmarket Close?  We used to hang around there as kids and watch the fishwives selling peas and vinegar outside Deacon Brodies."
