EPS Member

James Hay

EPS Member from 1883

James Hay was described as an "Original Member" of EPS.

This does not mean that he was one of the Founding Members in 1861, but I believe that it was one of the possible classes of that existing EPS members could become (and continue to pay the lower subscription) when Edinburgh Photographic Society acquired its own premises and darkrooms in 1892.  In fact he joined EPS on8 Jauary 1883.
