Princes Street Views

Central Edinburgh

The three streets running from West to East in the map below are:

-  Queen Street:   where EPS Popular Meetings were held

-  George Street:  where many PSS and EPS meetings were held

-  Princes Street:  where many of Edinburgh's photographic studios were based in the 19th century.

Princes Street

The studios were on the North side of the street, most in the central part of the street, between the junction with Castle Street and the Sir Walter Scott Monument.  On the South side of the street, there was an open outlook towards Edinburgh Castle.
