Below are reproductions of a platinotype print immediately before and after it has been developed.  The photograph was taken by A Horsley Hinton and appeared in his book Platinotype Printing, published in 1897.  These images were prepared by the Platinotype Company.

Platinotype Printing was No 11 in the Amateur Photographer's Library in 1897.
