George received the information in a recent telephone call from John Bodsworth who writes books on military uniforms.

George wrote:

"Both these photos above were taken at Tynemouth.

-  Photo 1:  Tynemouth Priory can be seen in the background.

-  Photo 2:  The gun is a 9.2 inch coastal gun.
