Simon Square

This broad cobbled street is Simon Square.  The view looks to the north up the street.  Buildings in Davy Street can be seen in the background

The street entering from the left is Gibb's Entry, a narrow street that leads through to Nicolson Street

The sign on the gable end of the high building at the end of this street reads "SALE ROOM".
