These buildings are on the south side of East Crosscauseway.

The name above the door of No 45, beside the old gas lamp, is 'D Grant, Meter Works'.  The 1930-31 edition of the Edinburgh & Leith Post Office Directory gives lists 'D Grant & Co' as being at 45 East Crosscauseway.
