Greenbank terminus  -  Route 23

City Hospital

Route 23 runs from Trinity in north Edinburgh to two termini in south Edinburgh, Greenbank and Glenlockhart.

Alternate buses run to these two destinations, except in the evenings when all buses run to Greenbank

-   Glenlockhart is a campus of Napier University.

-  Greenbank terminus is at the western end of Greenbank Drive.  This view looks to the SE and shows the now housing that has been recently built on the south side of the road at the western end of Greenbank Drive, in and around the area where the City Hospital once stood.

When the City Hospital was built, it was an isolation hospital, far from any housing, but Edinburgh has since expanded, and the whole area has now been filled with housing.
