2009 Dean Cemetery, once known as the Western Cemetery, lies on the higher ground, beside the Dean Gallery, above and to the NW of Dean village. The cemetery opened in 1845 and became a fashionable burial ground in the Victorian era. The photograph above is one of three taken there on November 13, 2009. Here are the other two:
