Many photographers in the 19th century advertised on the back of their cabinet prints and cartes de visite:

"Photographs finished in oils and watercolours."

The photo from Parisian Photo Co above seems to be one such example.  It is a photograph of Janet C Dickson, aged about 18, taken around 1891.
