Details of EPS new members above have been taken from EPS Members' Book No 2 - 1880-81.  This book, which is in the custody of the Edinburgh Room at Edinburgh Central Library is a large handwritten book showing all EPS members and their subscriptions during the sessions beginning 1880 to 1890.  The annual subscription was five shillings.
