Rex Launderette

These are some of the last buildings in Niddrie to be demolished.

Rex Laundrette is the low building on the left, with a backdrop of Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park.  The housing on the right is on the south side of Wauchope Crescent.

The photo was taken in March 2008.  The artwork was added to the pipes on the housing, and on other houses in the area, in August 2007
