Coffee Break Here the workers move in close to one of the braziers that gave off some heat in the large cold engineering works on this cold February morning. Here is the original photograph that I took: One of the workers settles down with his coffee and newspaper, as the other uses his home-made sword to toast his roll! |

Sepia Picture I then converted to sepia to create the image in the small thumbnail below. I thought sepia seemed seemed appropriate for an image that looks as if it might have been taken in the early 1900s. It was, in fact, taken in 1993. |
