School Choir "The teacher in this photo is Miss Hannovey.  She was the Music Teacher, so this would probably be a School Choir picture." © I attended the school in 1957/58.  A couple of the faces are familiar to me, but I'm still trying to place the names." Cathie wrote: Students "I attended St. Thomas' school, but did not complete my 4th year.  I left the school in December 1954.  I recognize six of the students in your photo who were in my classes.  Maybe someone else will remember other names." Choir "I still keep in touch with Annette Fagan.  I was in St Thomas' choir for a while, but I left school before this photo was taken. Miss Hannavy was a good teacher. Thank you to Edith Caulfield for writing again with a couple more names for the table below, including her older sister, who sadly has now passed away. Edith wrote:

Doreen Cavanagh "I cannot be positive, but the 1st student on the right in the second row from the back  in this photo looks very much like my older sister Doreen Cavanagh. She passed away in 1986 and I had no pics of her when we were kids. © She remained in Scotland and did not come to Canada with me in 1958.  She was  tiny, 4ft 11 inches, had dark hair and attended the school at this time.  She was also in the choir." School Class "I was very quite excited to see the St. Thomas of Aquin's class photograph sent in by Edith Caulfield. I believe the photograph was taken in 1957 as I recognize a few of my classmates. Cathie wrote: 1956? "I left St Thomas's in December 1954.  I was in my 4th year, but decided to leave to start working. Annette Fagan, Jean Teviotdale and Ellen Meechan were classmates of mine.  They apparently stayed on for higher education.  If they stayed on to complete 5th year, they would probably have left St. Thomas's in 1956.
