Headmaster
"It is interesting to see Mr Mulvey (top left
in this photo) who was Headmaster at that time. He then moved, probably
about 1955, to the new RC school, St John Vianney at Gilmerton."

Rugs
"I certainly recognise the rugs in the photo
above. I'm sure they came from Mr Mulvey’s office. They also appear in
Photo 2 below, which I submitted; it was taken about 1953."

Recent Photo
"I took the Photo 3 below in November
2009. It shows how the
school site has been redeveloped. This photo looks to the spot where
Photo 1 was taken. The sloping wall to the garden of what was the
annex is still there."

Toilet Block
"A few years after I left St Mary’s, a new
toilet block was built at that spot. Any of those who went to the
school in my period would agree that it was long overdue."
