This engraving of Restalrig Church is after an etching by the well known etcher, James Skene of Rubislaw.

Parish Church of Restalrig and Leith

There was an earlier church at Restalrig, built in the 12th century.  Until its destruction in 1560, it was the Parish Church of Restalrig and Leith.  When the church was build, Restalrig was larger than Leith.
