Edinburgh from the north

Here is an engraving of Edinburgh from the north in 1693 by Paterson after Slezer.  Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh Castle are both prominent features, with the Pentland Hills between them.

John Slezer's engraving of Edinburgh from the North was made on a plate almost three feet wide.
