When this photo of Rex Launderette was taken on January 3, 2008, almost all the other buildings in the surrounding area had been demolished. On the right of this photo, the last remaining houses, now all unoccupied and about to be demolished, can be seen around the eastern end of Wauchope Crescent and on the eastern side of Wauchope Terrace. The church, on the extreme right is the only building in the area that is to be retained. |
