Looking to the East, towards Stockbridge

The photo above was taken on November 29, 2010, following the first heavy snowfall of the winter in Edinburgh.  It is unusual for Edinburgh to see so much snow at this time of year.

Dean Gardens, can be seen on the  left-hand side of this photo.  They lie on the sloping land between Eton Terrace and the Water of Leith.

The New Town tenements at the top of this photo (centre to right) are in:

-  Moray Place

-  Great Stuart Street

-  Ainslie Place
