Looking down Our Dynamic Earth and The Scottish Parliament

View to the North

This photograph was taken on Christmas Eve, 2010 from the Radical Road that runs beneath Salisbury Crags in Holyrood Park.

It looks down on the Our Dynamic Earth, science centre (left) and The Scottish Parliament (right, and further back).

In the background is the former Royal High school in Regent Road with the Nelson Monument and National Monument on Calton Hill above it.
