The Union Canal

On the southern side of the Union Canal opposite the Scottish & Newcastle Brewery at Fountainbridge was a row of low garages.   These were used as car repair workshops until they were demolished in late summer 2004. 

The photographs above show all that remained of the site in mid-October.
