Thank you to Jimmy Cunningham, Gracemount, Edinburgh for taking this photograph of the old and new road signs on Old Burdiehouse Road.

This is a follow-up to Steven Oliver's comments that Burdiehouse may be a corruption of 'Bordeaux House'.

Spelling

"That was very good of Jimmy Cunningham to provide the photo of the street names.  The old street name looks to be original to the building but I see that it’s been spelled with an extra ‘u’ – something that I was not previously aware of."
