Auchendinny Viaduct

Thank you to Bob Henderson, Burdiehouse, Edinburgh for taking the photograph above and three more photos at Auchendinny viaduct, in May 2009.

The photos were taken in an attempt to discover whether or not a viaduct in the background of this early photo by James Pike might be Auchendinny viaduct.

CONCLUSION:  There are similarities between Auchendinny viaduct in the photos taken by Bob Henderson in 2009 and the viaduct in the background of James Pike's photo.

We don't have a definite answer yet, but It is possible that the viaduct in James Pike's photo is Auchendinny viaduct.
