This photograph was taken on Christmas Eve, 2010 from Hunter's Bog, a valley to the east of Salisbury Crags in Holyrood Park.  The view looks towards:

- LEFT:  Hibernian Football Club stands, painted green.  A crane is helping to erect new housing on ground recently sold by Hibs FC.  Behind Hibs' stand, about a mile further north is with one of the old grain silos in Leith Docks.

- CENTRE-RIGHT:  The island of Inchkeith in the Firth of Forth.  The lighthouse, still operating, can just be seen at the summit of the island.
