This photograph of Victoria Park was taken in 1906 by Valentine & Sons. The postcard was posted in 1909. I have not yet discovered when Victoria Park was created, but I have seen correspondence in The Scotsman in the 1890s referring to it as Victoria Jubilee Park, so it may well have been 1887 or 1897. |
