Hobbies  -  and Boxing!

My father was a wonderful person, with lots of hobbies:

-  drawing

-  poetry

-  snooker.

He even once, while selling programmes for a boxing tournament, known as 'Cotters Saturday Night', at the Synod Hall in Castle Terrace, was asked to deputise.

Without any previous experience of competitive boxing, he was pitted against one of Edinburgh's best-known boxersCharlie knocked him out in the first round.
