Holyrood Palace and Chapel

There is no photographer's name or seller's name on this stereo card.

It is one of only two stereo views of Edinburgh that I have seen in this format, on translucent tissue.  Somebody has begun to cut out very small holes from the backing material to allow more light to shine through, as if the windows are lit.

My other example of this type of stereo card has far more holes cut out.  It is a view of the Grassmarket and Edinburgh Castle, sold by Lennie:
