David Murray, son of William Murray (2) was listed as a photographer in the 1891 census and 1901 Wolverhampton census.

I have found no reference to him in the Edinburgh, Leith and Portobello trade directories.  Perhaps he worked for one of the other Edinburgh photographers, rather than under his own name.

William Murray

I have found no reference William Murray in any of the Edinburgh, Leith and Portobello trade directories.  However, the following death notice appeared in the Scotsman on 20 January 1858. 

"William Murray, photographer at 10 Brighton Street. d. in 32nd year"

Perhaps he worked for one of the other Edinburgh photographers, rather than under his own name.

NOTE:  This is not the same person as William Murray, father of John Robert Murray and David Murray who died in 1894
