WJ McLelland & Son had a studio at  20a Promenade, Portobello from 1928 to 1934.  Here is an envelope that was sent from their studio in 1928:

The studio passed into the name of Robert McLeland from 1934 to 1949.  Robert was presumably the son of WJ McLelland.

Fancy Goods

Robert’ McLelland’s business was listed in the trade directory as

Fancy Goods and Photography. 

Robert’ McLelland also had a studio at Broxburn.
