David Lindsay was born in Aberdeen in 1820 or 1821.  He became a photographer living and working at:

-  36 Leith Walk (1861-64) then

-  5 Shrub Place: part of Leith Walk (1865)

I recently [Dec 04] saw a small cased ambrotype photograph by D Lindsay for sale.
