1861 Census

Sotires Georgiades was born in  Argos, Greece.

At the time of the 1861 Census  he was reported as being aged 50, living at 58 Queen Street.  He gave his occupation as Retired Photographer.

He was living with:

-  Elizabeth [wife, age 49, b. Anstruther, Fife]

-  Margaret Davidson [sister in law, age 45, b. Anstruther, Fife]

-  domestic servant

[1861 Census]

 

1881 Census

At the time of the 1881 Census Sotires Georgiades [age 71] was still living at 58 Queen Street and gave his occupation as Retired Photographer.

He was living with his wife, Elizabeth G Georgiades.

Sotires Georgiades continued to live at 58 Queen Street until 1883, but there was no further mention of his professions in the Edinburgh trade directories after 1862.
