Marshall Wane was official photographer for the 'Old Edinburgh' exhibit at the 1886 International Exhibition held at the Meadows in Edinburgh.

This exhibit included the reconstruction of several buildings of Old Edinburgh, by then demolished.

This book features ten of Marshall Wane's photographs, 6 ins x 4 ins, each mounted onto  card measuring 8 ins x 6.5 ins:
