Thomas H M Colledge

 

Colour Photography

Thomas H M Colledge was an early colour photography worker, born in Edinburgh in 1860 or 1861.

He won an award in the 'Colour Work' class for Professional Photographers in 1900, for his print Evening - A Quiet Road at the Waverley Market Exhibition in Edinburgh.

 

Professional Photographer

J H M Colledge resided at 7a, Bullsheugh, Selkirk in the Scottish Borders at the time of the 1881 census.

From 1893 until at least 1914 he had a studio at Station Road, Innerleithen, about 30 miles to the south of Edinburgh and about 15 miles north-west of Selkirk.
