Here is another postcard by Reginald Phillimore   -  the Cowgate in the Old Town of Edinburgh.  This is typical of many of Phillimore's postcards, with lots of historical detail.  It also has an advert for Phillimore's Historical Stories, inscribed on what looks like an old well in front of one of the closes.
