Here is the Eastern Harbour at Granton, built in the 1830s, situated between Middle Pier and the Eastern Breakwater.

Granton Eastern Harbour is to be retained.

Granton Western Harbour (off this picture, to the left) has largely been reclaimed and is now being developed for housing with just a small marina.
