Dan Orr

1908 -

100th Birthday

Dan Orr was an active member of Edinburgh Photographic Society.  He is now a member of Trinity Bowling Club but retains his interest in photography.  In February 2008, he went to view the Ansel Adam exhibition, currently on display at the City Art Centre in Edinburgh.

Dan celebrates his 100th birthday on March 7, 2008.

Congratulations, Dan!

 

1970s

1975:  Dan was joint winner of the Young Cup, a trophy presented  annually by the 'EPS Colour Group' for slides submitted throughout the season.

1977:  Dan gave a talk to the 'EPS Nature Photography Group', entitled Mammal Photography and Techniques'.

Dan was also a member of the 'EPS Portfolio Group' and was an enthusiastic photographer of flowers.
