EPS Activities began:

from 1900

EPS reached the year 1900 with 509 Members.  It had made remarkable progress in its first 39 years.  It had Premises, Darkroom, Library, Annual Exhibitions, Wednesday Meetings, Exhibitions and Outings

What happened next?   Fortunately, 100 years later, we still have EPS with its Premises, Darkroom, Library, Annual Exhibitions, Wednesday Meetings, Exhibitions and Outings. 

During the 20th century there

In 1899, EPS was debating whether or not to set up a group to make a photographic record of some of the buildings of Edinburgh.  A group was established.  In 1999, EPS was again considering whether or not to set up such a group..

Just as happened in 1892, the purchase of its own premises in 1954 appears to have brought a new lease of life to the society.  These are the first dates I have found for each of the following:
