"My brother lived at Milnes Court when he was first married in 1947.  He lived on the fourth floor in the north block.  His wife used to live on about the 4th floor in the south block.  Florence Broderick (nee McGhee) who also has entries on your site was her younger sister.

I spent a fair bit of time playing football in the court back in the late-1940s and early-1950s.  It was a great place to play. I always like to go there when I visit Edinburgh to reminisce.

 If anyone from those far off days remembers me I would love to here from them"
