"I lived in Edinburgh at Morningside, then The Inch, then Meadowbank before emigrating to  Canada in 1969.   I now live just outside of Vancouver in a village called Agassiz (pronounced like the tennis player)."

School and Work

"I went to George Heriot's School, then served my time as a mechanic with Merchiston Motors (Ecurie Ecosse) then I was with B.E.A. (now British Airways) when they were on Princes Street."
