Brass Band

"My father worked at the Royal Blind Asylum  Gillespie Cres and was member of the works brass band, although sighted.  I was also am member in the late 40's and early 50's before joining the RAF.

I can remember playing at various venues ie Gala days and parks throughout Edinburgh.

Here are some photos that I took on an outing to Kinghorn, after giving a concert on the beach, around 1950."
